And Saka cried

Popular comedian and MTN Ambassador, Hafiz Oyetoro is known for his jolly demeanour and his ability to make you laugh or smile no matter what you are going through. So it was heart breaking to see him cry on Sunday when his father was buried. Pa Dauda Oyetoro died on Saturday morning and was buried on Sunday evening at the Oyetoros’ country home at Koso, Iseyin, Oyo State according to Muslim rites.
Pa Oyetoro, was a farmer in his lifetime and died at the ripe age of 98. Speaking at the burial Hafiz popularly known as Saka said that his father might have died of the old age or phenomena as there was no report of his being sick prior to his death. “There was nothing wrong with him prior to his death. He was hale and hearty, so I believe that he died as a result of old age. You know he was 98,” the ace comic actor said.

Oyetoro, is also a lecturer at the Adeniran Ogunsanya College of Education, Otto Awori, Lagos. He expressed appreciation to Almighty Allah for giving his father long, healthy life. “He lived a good, healthy, long life and I thank Almighty Allah for this. I also thank all those who have been calling and sympathising with me since the passing on of my father as well as those who attend the burial,” he said, saying that the full burial programme will be announced later.
