The Vodafone Ghana Music Awards 2012 which was held at The Dome yesterday in, Accra, Ghana witnessed a large turn out of guest, artists and fans from Ghana, Nigeria and Across Africa. Nigeria’s and Chocolate City artist Ice Prince went home with the African artist of the year, beating Naeto C, Duncan Mighty, D’banj, Cabo Snoop, Wizkid and M.I to win it.
There were performances from HHP of South Africa, Capo Snoop of Angola, Sarkodie of Ghana, Choc. City artists (M.I, Ice Prince, Jesse Jagz, and Brymo)
Actor Chris Attoh and Ghanaian comedian Funny Face were host for the night. Highlight of the award was Sarkodie for winning the Artiste of the year.
