Woman nabbed for hiding gun in bag of Garri

A woman, whose identity could not be established as at
 press time has been caught with guns concealed in the bags of garri she was transporting.
The woman was apprehended by a team of soldiers at a checkpoint in Tsafe, Zamfara State.
The day and time of the arrest could not be ascertained as at press time.
Based on a video posted on the Internet, the woman had a lot of bags of garri in which she concealed the guns.
They were, from the video snippet, sophisticated guns.



She, however, did not reveal the source of the arms before the video clip ran out.
The soldiers, who made the discovery, however, threatened to shoot her if she did not confess the source of the arms and the destination to which she was taking it.
She had been beaten and had what looked like knife cuts on both hands.
She promised to confess but the end result could not be viewed as the video ran out.
The North had, since the beginning of the year, come under the constant attack and threat of attack by dreaded sect, Boko Haram.
