3J's, a diamond in the busy capital

If you noticed, I was not regular with posts last week, that was because I was in Abuja attending the Abuja International Film Festival. While there, I stayed in a hotel called 3Js and the level of service blew me away. The hotel clocked three years this week and I did a little story on it. Read on.
Abuja, the country’s capital is also the country’s capital for hotels and the hospitality business. There are more hotels in Abuja than any state in the country, even Lagos. As such one would find all sorts to fit both tastes and pockets. There are some that offer the basic need of lodging while others go all the way to offer a total hospitality experience.

According to Joseph Olusegun, the Director of Operations at 3J’s Hotel in Abuja, it is the constant desire to go all the way for their patrons and customers that have kept them in business for the past three years. “We do not sell rooms, what we sell to our customers is an experience. and that is why they keep coming back, and that is why we are in business three years on.  The location is close enough to be convenient for meetings and events, restaurants and bar, but distant enough to enjoy a quiet and peaceful part of Abuja away from the noise and congestion of the city,” Olusegun says.

3Js has been operational in Abuja for just three years and in the short time has become one of the most popular land marks in the capital city. Asides from its posh rooms, it also boasts of an exotic bar, restaurant with international cuisine, and a beautiful pool side. 3J’s Hotels include a Pastry corner, a fitness centre a business centre and free WIFI for all guests.

While speaking about what sets 3Js apart from the numerous hotels that dots Abuja, Olusegun says, it is all in the mission and vision of the hotel from the onset. “We have always had a clear vision on what we want to achieve. It is true that Abuja has a very large number of hotels. In fact competition is one of the challenges of the hotel business in Abuja, but what we have been able to do over the years is to make sure that we keep our customers smiling. We have a scheme we introduced called 3J's Inner Circle.

Those who are members of the program are able to accrue discounts on their card which could add up to pay for a room. Imagine walking up to the receptionist and you are told that you don’t have to pay for your room. Our rooms no matter which one you take, comes  with free breakfast and access to the gym and the WIFI service.  We also have a Car Hire Service, Airport Shuttle, Full Security Surveillance, Out Door Catering, Spa, Saloon, Supermarket, and a Clinic, said Joseph Olusegun as the hotel clocks three this week.
