Radio presenters turn to acting

On Air Personalities (OAP), Yaw, Katherine Obiang and Lolo are set to stage an adaptation of Elechi Amadi’s Pepper Soup next month. The play will be staged every Sunday in September. It is produced by Play factory’ and 2PM Media in conjuction with Tuale Naija media. Other radio personalities taking part are; Kelvin Abidde (Tuebi) and Lawal Sheriff Carla Chidiac.
Pepper Soup tells the story of on an upcoming musician, his pregnant Nigerian girlfriend and a white woman he befriends with grandiose promises. It all comes to a head when all three people and Yaw’s meddlesome best friend have to live together for a bit.

“I am so excited about Pepper soup, being one of the producers is a lot of work but it feels good” Katherine Obiang the OAP says. Pepper Soup is stage managed by Obi Martins and directed by Olusola Roberts.
