Top Nollywood stars and Television personality was this week honoured for their involvement in charity work. This is a follow up of the event hosted by Creative Five World(CFW) by it’s Charity Lounge brand at Terra Kulture, Victoria Island, Lagos two weeks ago. Though most of the celebrities did not show up for their awards at the event due to the closure of the third Mainland bridge, the organisers had however given each and every awardee their plaques this week.

Though most of the stars did not show up, those in attendance made the event grand.  The event also was a charitable outing dedicated to autism awareness and acknowledging agents of change who are living their lives in the overhaul of others.
Nollywood’s Finest, Joseph Benjamin and Renowned Filmmaker, Dotun Taylor were the host who made sure everyone had a fun filled Afternoon. Guests were treated to lavish cocktails, finger foods with lunch from Terra kulture.
Those honoured were Stella Damasus, Gerald Azonobo, Innocent Idibia, Funmi Iyanda, Julius Agwu, Bake for Change, The Future Project, Lamboginny say no to Crime, Save Laura Campaign and Kuth Foundation.

Speaking on the Heroes Induction, Chaste Inegbedion, the Executive Director, CFW said “Though there were significant difficulties in organizing this event and getting the inductees present especially on a weekday, but we are excited that the turnout was impressive and the Awareness of the First Autism Film in Nigeria was a plus to our credibility to secure sponsorships for charity homes and to raise role models as advocates for more charitable projects, which is the essence of the Charity Lounge Lagos and we are at all times proud of our heroes, both the individuals and initiatives we encompass.”
According to him, the next edition will be tagged ‘Charity Lounge Lagos 3.0’ and is expected to be held in commemoration of Nigeria’s 52nd Independence Anniversary and Cancer Awareness Month in October 2012.
