Unwanted guest goes to Unilag


The Main Auditorium of the University of Lagos (UNILAG) recently played host to a Nigerian movie shot on the street of New York. The movie is the award winning 'Unwanted guest.’

The screening attracted excited guests which include students and other movie lovers.The event kicked off with a massive attendance on the red carpet screening of the event, celebrities like Big Brother Africa's Katung and movie star, Joseph Benjamin were also on the red carpet.

Benjamin in a chat endorsed the movie noting that he was impressed by the quality of the movie. "It s a must-see," he says. According to the actor, another element of the movie that he was impressed with was the healthy dose of suspense that ran throughout the length of the movie.


Prior to the screening, the producer of the movie, Chuck Ajoku and NollywoodAmerica had staged an audition for a new Nollywood America movie coming on the heels Unwanted Guest.
The story of Unwanted guest borders around a Nigerian man (Ike) who suddenly finds that he had bitten more than he can chew when he falls in love with two gorgeous women - One, his wife (Ify) in Nigeria and the other, his American girlfriend (Nicky). Now, what does he do when his Nigerian wife wins the U.S visa lottery and decides to give him a surprise visit in New York where he resides on his birthday while his American sweetheart also plans to surprise him with the news of her pregnancy. All on the same day. How would he work through this fix. The simple solution to his to his predicament unfolds in Unwanted Guest.
