Saheed Osupa in trouble

Controversial Fuji star, Saheed Osupa is at it again. The highly talented but troublesome musician has been in and out of a police post in the last few days, following his public brutality of a Turkey seller. The victim named Tope Shoake according to information is a friend of Saheed Osupa's estranged wife, (Iya Ayinde). At the same time, she sells frozen Turkey to Osupa's second wife Adebisi Alake, in Surulere, Lagos. According to the information, Adebisi as usual bought a Kilo of frozen Turkey (N700) from the victim. On getting home she told her husband (Osupa) where she bought the Turkey. Taking offence in his former wife's friendship with the seller and fear of poison, Osupa insisted that, his wife throw away the Turkey and buy another one in another shop.

 However, the wife, who was considering the money paid for the Turkey and does not want to encourage wastage, gave the uncooked Turkey to the gateman to cook and eat. She also cooked another meal for her family. Trouble however started when it was alleged that the Gateman (Mallam) who ate the Turkey later developed a swollen stomach. The insinuation or in plain language, allegation of poisoning remained within the Saheed Osupa's family. Meanwhile, the rumour about food poison by the Turkey seller got to her through Iya Ayinde (Osupa's 1st wife). To clear her name, she confronted the buyer Osupa's 2nd wife (Adebisi) to shed more light on the issue. Meanwhile, at their point of meeting, Saheed Osupa was hiding nearby only to interrupt the peaceful talk, harassing the Turkey seller, calling her names and accusing her of conspiring with Iya Ayinde to eliminate the family. To prove her innocence, that she has not been sent to poison the family, Tope Soake said, "I was trying to explain to him when he descended on me. He hit me with his hands and legs. I became unconscious and that was the situation that took us there (Police Station)”, the victim had told ekotainment when asked about the crisis.

 Another twist to the story is that, the woman's husband belongs to a strong Islamic fanatic organization and the sect is currently considering going beyond the police to seek justice. We were told on the day Saheed Osupa went to the police; he was promised hell by members of the sect popularly called ‘TEBLIG’.

 A source close to the Fuji crooner said he has started making frantic efforts through some respected Islamic cleric to end the matter. "In fact the last time he met them; he apologized and even prostrated for her (the Turkey seller). I believe she will forgive him. A lot of people have intervened into the matter. It will soon get to an end. The whole problem was caused by Iya Ayinde who went to inform the woman" he said.

 In a related development, the controversial King of Music has thrown her third wife out of his Ibadan home. Ekotainment gathered that, he is prepared to let out the apartment.
